Definition of Leadership

Recently in a lecture I heard Jeff Barnes of Synergy Veterinary Consulting say, "Leaders are agents of change." I truly believe he is right. One of the most important jobs of a truly successful leader is to embrace the need for change and continued development in all aspects of his/her life. A dynamic leader constantly asks the team to step up and grow, so the successful leader must set an example as well. When you are the one asking each person to give his or her best every day, you simply must always give your best.
